1. PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND
The UNFPA is initiating the “16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence” Campaign (http://www.genderbasedviolence.am/en/content/show/15/public-campaigns.html) in Armenia from November 25, 2010 to December 10, 2010. The 16 Days Campaign in Armenia envisages a number of activities focusing on different aspects of violence against women, including domestic violence, trafficking and HIV/AIDS twin pandemics.
The UNFPA Armenia Office calls for quotations on developing and airing on public and regional TVs a Public Service Announcement (PSA) and Poster on topic of Men against Violence, as part of the activities to be carried out within “16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence” campaign.
2. SCOPE OF WORK AND TIMELINE
The Contractor will:
1. Develop script of one (1) PSA on topic of Men against Violence
2. Develop up to 60-70 (sixty-seventy) seconds in duration PSA on topic of Men against Violence within the theme of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence” Campaign, as well as air the PSA on public and regional TV channels starting from November 25, 2010 to December 10, 2010
3. Develop a poster on the topic of Men against Violence and post it in Yerevan and Marzes starting from November 25, 2010 to December 10, 2010
3. ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA
All interested parties, whether individuals or legal entities are eligible to apply. The following criteria will be considered by the selection panel:
- Previous experience in preparation and airing of PSAs’ as well as designing and printing posters or similar visual information/education/communication and/or promotional materials;
- Previous exposure to (and creative capacity in) to GBV issues;
- Previous experience of cooperation UNFPA (or other UN Agencies)
- Cost-effectiveness of the proposal
4. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS
A complete quotation (in English only) will include the following:
- a letter of interest,
- description/portfolio of previously completed relevant projects,
- proposed activities/ budget/quotation (download from this link).

Applications should be delivered to the UN building (14 P. Adamyan Str.) before17:00,
10 November 2010.Please ensure that your applications are submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “ToR 08-2010/UNFPA CGBV”.
Please note that it is absolutely necessary to sign the REGISTRATION FORM available at UN Guards Office upon submission of your proposal.
